Mouth

After months of extensive research and testing, Doctor Dayglow cleverly ascertained that Mitch has no mouth. Mitch tried on several occasions to explain this fact to the good Doctor, using gesticulation and mime, but always failed. Mitch would also fill notebooks with frenzied notes, but Dr Dayglow staunchly believes that genetic experimentation is a simpler endeavor than reading.

While ridding Mitch of a particularly nasty case of Monstritis Conjunctivitis, Doctor Dayglo performed scrapings to collect samples of the oozy-slime from Mitch's eye and nodes. When combined with DNA from a British sperm whale (for brain size) and an insecure glowworm (for land mobility and bioluminescence), Mouth was born.
